Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is not expecting to make too many changes to his starting eleven for the visit of Dagenham on Saturday.

Zander Diamond is fit and available for selection along with Gregor Robertson while Ivan Toney is set to return to the matchday squad after serving a three-match ban following his sending off against Bury on Boxing Day.

“I don’t envisage us making any changes,” confirmed Wilder.

“We kept a clean sheet at Exeter and the players deserve to go again.

“Zander is a big player for us but I’ve got to respect the players who have got the shirt and I’ll be asking for more of the same from them on Saturday.

“Defence is an area where we’ve made a lot of changes either because of form or injuries and we want to keep a settled unit there.

“It’s time for a bit of consistency in that department but that will only happen if the players in possession of the shirt perform well.”
