Striker leaves Sixfields at end of contract
The contract of Alex Nicholls will officially expire on Wednesday.
Nicholls, who suffered a broken leg in October 2012, battled back to fitness and signed a 6 month contract last summer.
He has spent some time on loan at Exeter City this season and has made 23 appearances in 2014/15 for the Cobblers and the Grecians, scoring twice.
