The Cobblers boss ahead of Northampton Town v Morecambe

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder previews Saturday’s game against Morecambe.

“We’ve had a good month and the key is to continue that into February,” he said.

“Morecambe are always a team that surprise people but they have got a togetherness and a good group of players who play for their manager.

“We will be big favourites on Saturday because of the run that we are on and we know that but this will be another difficult game for us as they all are.

“Morecambe are capable of going anywhere and winning and we will pay them just as much respect if not more than we would anyone else in this league.

“They will come here looking to cause an upset and we will need to be bang on. We go into every game believing that we can win but just because we are on a decent run we don’t get a goal start and we know that anything can happen.

“We want to keep looking up the table but the only way we will keep this run going is by working hard if not harder.”
