BRENDON MOLONEY SIGNS PERMANENT CONTRACT AT SIXFIELDS

2 February 2015

Defender signs for Northampton Town on Deadline Day

Northampton Town have signed defender Brendon Moloney on a three and a half year contract after he left Yeovil Town.

The 26 year old right back arrived on loan from Yeovil for the rest of the season at the start of the January transfer window, but he has impressed and has now signed on at Sixfields on a permanent basis after leaving the Glovers.

"It was an easy decision to sign Brendon on a permanent contract," said manager Chris Wilder.

"He has been really impressive since coming in and has played his part in the recent good run.

"Not only has he been a big asset over the last few weeks, he has an important part to play in the rest of this season and beyond that as well.

"He has an excellent attitude both on and off the field, he has settled in well to the group in the dressing room and we are really pleased Brendon has become a permanent addition."
