Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team took on Stevenage at Moulton College on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
The Cobblers led 2-0 through goals from Shaquille Master and Joe Iaciofano but the game ended 2-2.
“It was a good team performance in horrendous conditions,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“To lead 2-0 and not win the game is disappointing but there were definitely positives we can take from today.”
