JOHN-JOE O'TOOLE WILL MISS NORTHWICH VICTORIA TIE

4 December 2015

The team news ahead of Northampton Town v Northwich Victoria

The Cobblers will be without John-Joe O’Toole for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup second round tie against Northwich Victoria at Sixfields.

O’Toole picked up his fifth yellow card of the season last Saturday, resulting in a one-match ban.

Right-back Brendan Moloney is however back in contention after serving a one-match ban following his red card at Crawley.

“We’ve got a full bill of health from last weekend,” said assistant manager Alan Knill.

“John-Joe is suspended so there will be a change there but apart from Paul Corry everyone else is fit and available.

“Ricky Holmes will be in the 18 again but whether he starts is another issue.

“He’s been back in training for a couple of weeks now and really it’s been like having a new player.

“The only thing is we have to be careful because Ricky has been out for a long time, he wants to do more and he wants to play but if anything we’ve had to hold him back a little bit.

“Results have made that easier but I’m sure Ricky is going to have a big part to play for us between now and the end of the season.”

A reminder that reduced price tickets apply for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Northwich Victoria, why not take advantage and come and cheer on the Cobblers?!
