Team news ahead of Luton Town v Northampton Town
John-Joe O’Toole will come back into the Cobblers squad for Saturday’s trip to Luton after serving a one-match ban for accumulating 5 bookings.
Ricky Holmes is meanwhile again set to start on the bench.
“Ricky is certainly not ready to start a game,” said boss Chris Wilder.
“We wanted to get him on against Yeovil but we couldn’t because of the state of the game and on Saturday against Northwich it was right for him to come on.
“We have to manage Ricky in the right way because we have to look after his long term health and hopefully with us doing that it will give him the best possible chance of seeing the season out.
“He is a really important player for us and the impact he made on Saturday wasn’t surprising for me and it gave us the boost that we needed."
