CHAIRMAN EXCITED BY MAGIC OF THE FA CUP

3 December 2015

Kelvin Thomas ahead of Saturday's visit from Northwich Victoria

Looking ahead to Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup second round tie against Northwich Victoria, new Chairman Kelvin Thomas has stressed the importance of trying to keep the recent excellent form going.

“It’s a cup game on Saturday and any cup game is a chance to progress to the next round," he said.

“We need to be professional, Saturday is important for everybody and for me the FA Cup hasn’t lost its magic."

It has been a busy few days for Chairman, and he has been delighted with the reception he has received.

“I’ve been out speaking to a lot of the club partners and sponsors and the reaction from them has been great," he continued.

“That work will continue and I’m looking forward to meeting more fans and speaking to them about their experiences.

“I’m always watching and trying to improve things step by step. It’s important for us to get out into the community and meet people to find out what people want, what people enjoy about the football club and how we can improve things.

“We are excited about moving the club forward and we will be working hard to do that.”

A reminder that reduced price tickets apply for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Northwich Victoria, why not take advantage and come and cheer on the Cobblers?!
