Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team were beaten 2-1 at Leyton Orient in the Football League Youth Alliance on Friday in a game moved forward 24 hours.
The Cobblers goal came from Ethan Lamptey, and coach Craig Hinton saw plenty to be pleased about in the performance.
“We deserved more from the game,” he said.
“We played well and can feel unlucky. One or two key decisions went against us but I was pleased with the effort and application of the boys.”
