Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team travelled to Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday afternoon in the Football League Youth Alliance.
The Cobblers won the game 3-2 with goals from Joe Iaciofano, Alex Mushata and Ethan Lamptey.
“We didn’t get there until 20 minutes before kick off because of the traffic so the lads showed real character,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“It was a good performance, a good result and the lads did really well considering the circumstances and I was pleased with their reaction to last week’s defeat.”
