The Cobblers boss on Northampton Town v Plymouth Argyle

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is looking for a reaction to the loss at Barnet in Saturday’s home game against Plymouth.

“Tuesday was a difficult night for us but we have to move on quickly and I’m sure you will see a good reaction from the players,” he said.

“We’ve had a good start and it’s important that we consolidate our position in and around the top of the league.

“Personally I don’t take defeat very well and I don’t want the players too either but with the games coming thick and fast we can’t dwell on things.

“The players were hurting after the game at Barnet, they all care and they all want to do well for the football club.

“Plymouth always travel well in terms of their backing, they are a big club and they’ve got some good players at the top of the pitch.

“It’s a tough division with tough games all the way along so it’s another big test for us on Saturday.”
