Cobblers Chairman says building work back on the agenda
Chairman David Cardoza says plans to build the new hotel at Sixfields have taken a back seat while the East Stand delays were resolved but it is now back at the top of the agenda.
“We’ve still got a hotel and conference centre to be built, that’s been sort of put on the back burner with everything else that has been going on but we are actively back on the case with that now and it’s our number one priority," he said.
“The re-development of Sixfields is very much ongoing and I think there will be some more news on that very soon, hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
“I’m really happy with the progress we’ve made on the field under Chris Wilder, he did an amazing job to keep us up last season, this season has been a bit up and down but if at Christmas you’d offered me the chance of a tenth place finish going in to the final game then I’d have certainly taken it."
