The Cobblers boss ahead of Burton Albion v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder previews this Saturday’s trip to Burton.

“Our attitude hasn’t changed in the last two games and we haven’t taken our foot off the gas,” he said.

“It should be a great occasion on Saturday and we are really looking forward to the game.

“We will congratulate Burton afterwards but whatever happens on Saturday we want to come away with a result.

“Burton have had a fantastic season, it’s taken them three years to get to this point and I think they are definitely a model that we can look at and learn from. They are not awash with money but they’ve got a good group of players that they’ve kept adding to.

“They have been tough and resolute all season but we’ve got the quality in our group and I expect us to do well. Our season is still alive and the attitude of the players has been spot on.

“We need a big performance and we know that but we’ve been playing well consistently for the last few months and I think we can learn from the bits and pieces that have let us down.”
