Zander Diamond could come back into the Cobblers squad for Saturday’s trip to Morecambe after missing the game against Accrington with an ankle injury.
“Hopefully Zander will be fit for Saturday,” said boss Chris Wilder.
“We will have a look at him on Friday and he will come back into the squad providing he comes through training okay.
“Matt Duke, Emile Sinclair and Evan Horwood are all still two to three weeks away, we won’t take any risks with players and they will only come back when they are ready.
“We are not looking at bringing anyone else in, we’ve got enough players in the squad and when we get players back from injury we will be looking to trim the squad down.”
