Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is hopeful of having Zander Diamond (ankle) fit for the visit of Accrington Stanley to Sixfields on Saturday.
“Zander has had a scan and he should be okay,” he said.
“He rolled his ankle in the game on Tuesday night and we took him off as more of a precaution but Lee Collins came on and did really well.
“It’s good that the group is strong, our bench is looking strong at the moment and whether we need to make changes in terms of personnel or our formation we’ve got good options.
“Emile Sinclair will probably train on Friday but with more of a view to being involved in the game at Morecambe.”
