Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team travelled to Watford on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
Despite goals from Robbie Parsons and Ryan Cooke the Cobblers were edged out by the odd goal in 5, going down to a 3-2 defeat against the Hornets.
“It was an unfortunate defeat,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“Some key decisions didn’t go our way and I felt we deserved something from the game.”
