NORTHAMPTON TOWN LADIES BEAT THRAPSTON

Northampton Town Ladies v Thrapston Ladies - match details

Northampton Town Ladies v Thrapston Ladies

Although going a goal behind after 15 minutes, the Cobblers Ladies never looked like losing this game.

For a while it looked like it could be one of those days when the ball would not find its way into the net, but then Northampton then found their range.

They were in front (2-1) by half time and then their superior fitness and quality told as the second half went on. Three goals a piece from Danielle Snowden and Harley O’Shea saw the cobblers home to a 6-1 victory, with O’Shea’s volleyed over head kick third being a contender for goal of the season.

The Cobblers ladies now top the league and face Kettering Ladies reserves away in their next game.
