All the news ahead of Newport County v Northampton Town
There is improving news on the injury front as Northampton Town prepare for the trip to South Wales to take Newport County.
Emile Sinclair (ankle) could come back into the Cobblers squad but Lee Collins (hamstring) and Evan Horwood (tendonitis) remain sidelined.
“Emile is back in training with a view to being involved on Saturday,” said boss Chris Wilder.
“The same goes for Daniel Alfei and Lee Collins should hopefully be back training early next week.
“Saturday might come too soon for Emile and Danny but if they are not back for Newport then they should be for Hartlepool on Tuesday.
“Evan has stepped up his recovery which is good news but it is still too early to make an assessment on when he will be back.”
