Chris Wilder on Northampton Town v Accrington Stanley
BUY YOUR MATCH TICKETS HERECobblers boss Chris Wilder is looking for a repeat of Tuesday night'sperformance for Saturday’s visit of Accrington Stanley.
“I was really pleased with the reaction of the players on Tuesday night but that game has gone now and we need to go again,” he said.
“Hopefully we will start where we left off against Hartlepool but Newport is still fresh in our mind and we know what can happen if we’re not right.
“We are looking for that consistency and hopefully we will get that on Saturday but we saw for 75 minutes in the game at Newport what can happen if we are not at it.
“We will always respect the opposition whoever is in charge but knowing John Coleman I’m sure he will be looking to get his reign off to a winning start and it’s up to us to make sure that doesn’t happen.
“We want interest in our football club and you only get that when you are doing well. We want to kick on and we want to attract more supporters along the way.”
