We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to the game on Saturday, in particular West Haddon Juniors Football Club who enjoyed a takeover day.

Some of the West Haddon squad walked out with the players ahead of kick off, while others formed a guard of honour.

They also had a photo taken in the home dug out.

At half time West Haddon took part in the Stanair Cup and then after the game they took penalties on the pitch against Clarence.

Darren Ridley, the West Haddon U10’s manager said his players enjoyed the day. “It was a great day out, an excellent way to get all the club together. It was enjoyed by everyone."

Jacob Dixon, who plays for the u12's, said, "I had never been before, so it was quite an experience. It was interesting to see how the crowd reacted to the match. It was an exciting day and different."

“Fantastic," said parent Alex Lowry. "All 3 boys have thoroughly enjoyed today, especially the penalties against Clarence. It was great getting close to the players. We are already looking forward to next time."

In all, West Haddon brought 176 players, coaches and parents to the game.
