Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team took on Peterborough United at Moulton College on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
Despite a brace from Dodzi Agbenu and a goal from Ben Jackson, the Cobblers ended up on the wrong side of a 4-3 scoreline.
“It was a very open game,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“To score three goals and not take something from the game is disappointing and defensively we have got some work to do.”
