Northampton Town can welcome Gregor Robertson back in to the squad for Saturday's visit from Burton Albion, but will be without the injured Marc Richards.
“The injuries we’ve picked up are obviously not ideal but I’m proud of the group, we are digging in and we’re not looking for excuses," said manager Chris Wilder.
“It would be quite easy to say in this period that we’ve got certain players missing but the players that have come into the team have really stepped up to the plate.
"The only downside from Tuesday was the injury to Marc Richards and it looks like he could be out for four to six weeks.
“He’s done his hamstring and that is obviously really disappointing for the player and for ourselves.”
