LADIES THREE POINTS CLEAR AT TOP OF TABLE

13 October 2014

Moulton Ladies 1 Northampton Town Ladies 2 - match details

Northampton Town Ladies retained their unbeaten record with a 2-1 win away to Moulton Ladies, a result that sees the Cobblers move three points clear at the top of the table.
This was a hard fought game which the Cobblers Ladies just shaded as their disciplined approach and fitness was the difference between the two sides.

Moulton took the lead with 30 minutes to go, that needed an immediate response from the Cobblers who equalised through Daniella Snowden.

A mistake by the Moulton keeper then gave Emma Billenness the chance to put the Cobblers in to the lead which they never looked like losing with 15 minutes to go.

Eden Brown, Emily Cattle and Harley O’Shea stepped up from the Under 18s and never looked out of place. The next match for the Cobblers girls is at home to Roade next Sunday.
