Cobblers boss Chris Wilder reflecting on Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Wycombe.
“We thought having got that close we should have seen the game out,” he said.
“The two centre halves were outstanding today but we maybe just lacked that bit of quality in our forward play.
“Wycombe will feel that they deserved a point and maybe they did.
“The bigger picture for me though is that we’ve taken a point away from home and now we move onto the next game.”
