The Cobblers boss on Luton Town v Northampton Town
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder reflecting on Saturday’s game at Luton.
“I’m disappointed for the fantastic support that we brought today but we gave Luton an opportunity and they took it,” he said.
“Luton are flying and it was a good finish from Luke Guttridge but at the moment we’re not getting anything from games and that isn’t good enough.
“We need to be better in the big moments in games and that’s ultimately why we find ourselves on the back of four defeats.
“It’s a real struggle for us at the moment and we shouldn’t be happy with our current position, regardless of the players we’ve got missing.
“We’ve got to go again in training on Monday and we’ve got to go into the Wimbledon game believing that’s the game that will get us out of this bad run that we’re on.”
