Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team were beaten 2-1 at Stevenage on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
“We were unfortunate not to take anything from the game but there are lots of positives for us to take from the performance,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“The performance was important after the cup defeat at Mansfield in the week and I was pleased with the reaction from the players.”
Robbie Parsons scored the Cobblers goal.
