Northampton Town Ladies overcome Billing United
The Cobblers Ladies beat Billing United by a convincing 8-0 scoreline in Sunday's County Cup tie.
Northampton Town once again took control of the game very early on but failed to make their dominant possession count until 20 minutes in to the first half. From there on the goals came at regular intervals with 8 goals from eight different players, a goal from captain Becky McGeough being one of the highlights.
This was an outstanding team performance with Emily Cattle stepping up from the u18s and not looking out of place at the senior level.
