Cobblers boss Chris Wilder previews this Saturday’s FA Cup first round tie against League One side Rochdale at Sixfields.
“It’s a tough tie and we will need to be at our best,” he said.
“It was important that we got the three points on Saturday to get us back on track in the league and now we go into a week of cup games.
“We will attack both games and hopefully you will start to see the confidence coming back into the team after Saturday.
“There is always an opportunity for teams in the cup to grab a bit of the limelight and the players won’t be daunted by coming up against teams in a higher league.
“Rochdale have had a fantastic start to the season but we want to get through to the next round and we will have a real go at it.”
