Striker makes Devon move
Northampton Town striker Alex Nicholls has joined Exeter City on loan until January 7th.
Nicholls recovered from a broken leg suffered in October 2012 to sign a new professional contract last summer, and has returned to first team action this season.
"This is an excellent move for Alex," said Wilder.
"He has done really well to get himself fit but what he needs is to play regular games.
"With Ollie Banks coming in, Ivan Toney staying with us, Marc Richards and Emile Sinclair fit again and Lawson D’Ath just about ready as well, competition for places in the attacking areas is tough, which Alex understands.
“Alex wants and needs regular football and he will benefit from returning to a club where he did well earlier in the season.”
