The views of the Cobblers assistant boss
Cobblers assistant boss Alan Knill reflecting on Saturday’s FA Cup first round tie against Rochdale.
“We’re a bit disappointed and we feel it’s an opportunity missed for us today,” he said.
“We had enough chances in the second half to win the game but we didn’t take them.
“Rochdale had the better of the first half and they are a good League One side but after we changed a few things round at half-time I felt we dominated the second half.
“It was a much better team performance in the second half and that’s two clean sheets on the bounce for us now which is a massive positive for us.
“Gregor Robertson felt his back in the warm-up which is why Lee Collins came in and Lawson D’Ath got a knock on his ankle but I don’t think either injury is too serious.”
