A number of opportunities have arisen at Northampton Town Football Club for the positions of:
• Performance Analysts
• Strength and Conditioning Coaches
• Support Sports Scientists
The positions are open to both full-time and part-time applicants and are unpaid, working with the 1st team players and coaching team. This is a fantastic chance for graduates, or students on a sandwich degree, looking for a season’s practical and applied experience working within professional football. Suitable applicants should:
• Have completed or are working towards a relevant degree
• Have completed, working towards or looking to undertake a relevant football qualification
• Be able to commit to at least 1 day per week for the entire season
The club are looking to expand its Sports Science department and are looking for hard-working, punctual and committed people. Applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated and professional in their approach to their key duties, and always looking to build their knowledge and bring fresh ideas to the department. Each of the roles within the department will report to the Head of Sports Science. The attached document should outline the roles and responsibilities of each position. Please note that the club are open to applicants from outside a football background, so extensive knowledge and experience of the sport is not necessary preferential.
Salary: N/A (expenses cannot be reimbursed, however benefits can be discussed during the interview)
Based at Sixfields Stadium and Moulton College
