Cobblers to visit Fernie Fields in pre-season
Northampton Town will travel to Sileby Rangers for a pre-season friendly ahead of the new season.
The Cobblers visited Fernie Fields last pre-season and will begin their build up to the 2014/15 campaign at the same venue.
The game will take place on Saturday July 12th at 3.00pm.
"I understand Sileby looked after the club really well last season so we are looking forward to going back there in July," said manager Chris Wilder.
"It is really important we connect with and support local clubs in and around Northampton and build those relationships.
"This will be our first pre-season game so given the way we finished last season and the additions to the squad we have already made and are looking to make, I would hope there will be a decent crowd at Fernie Fields. It should be a good afternoon, and one we will look forward to."
The club will announce admission details in due course.
