Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team travelled to Barnet on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
The Cobblers won a topsy-turvy encounter 4-3 with goals from Dodzi Agbenu (2), Danny Harmon (pen) and Ryan Cooke.
Craig Hinton’s side were 3-2 down going into the 88th minute before two late goals from Agbenu and Cooke turned the match on it’s head.
“It was a bit of a dramatic finish but I’m delighted that the lads kept going right until the end to get the result,” Hinton said.
“It was an entertaining game and the lads showed great spirit to come back from 3-2 down.”
