The views of the Cobblers boss

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder reflecting on Saturday’s home defeat to Bury.

“It was an unacceptable performance and we need to do better in all aspects of the game,” he said.

“We’ve got some big experienced players in the dressing room and they need to do better.

“Our plans were disrupted before the game when we lost Gregor Robertson to illness but that’s not an excuse and I actually thought we started the game quite well.

“We started on the front foot but we’ve conceded two poor goals and yet again we’ve given ourselves a mountain to climb.

“We can’t feel sorry for ourselves, we’ve got six games to go and we need six big performances from everybody.”
