WILDER PLEASED WITH WEEK'S WORK

1 March 2014

The views of the Cobblers boss

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder reflecting on Saturday’s goalless draw against Bristol Rovers.

“We could have won it but Matt Duke made an outstanding save so may be in the end a draw was about fair,” he said.

“We were a little bit short of the quality that we’ve shown at the top of the pitch in the last few games but I’m not at all disappointed with what I’ve seen today.

“If you don’t win then you need to make sure that you still take something from the game, we’ve done that and now we move onto the next one.

"We’re a positive group and the players have given me, the staff, the club and most importantly the supporters everything in the last three games.”

Wilder also confirmed in the post match press conference that striker Antonio German has returned to Gillingham with his loan spell at an end.
