The views of the Cobblers boss

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder was pleased with the second half response as he reflected on Tuesday night's 1-0 win at Exeter.

"I can't deny it's a big three points for us," he said.

"In the first half we weren't at the races and Exeter were the better side. We were way below the standards that we have been at but we got into the players at half-time and in the second half we were a lot better all over the pitch.

"In the second half we played with a lot more quality, we looked lively on the break and I don't think Exeter really created any clear cut chances.

"It wasn't a polished performance and we can play a lot better but it's a big result and in the end that's all that matters."
