Cobblers boss Chris Wilder knows his team will have to be their best for Tuesday night’s visit from Rochdale.

“Rochdale have been consistent all season and they are a really good football side,” he said.

“Consistency is the key for us, we are getting consistent performances off the players and we are getting consistent results.

“We believe that we can win any game but we know that we have to play well.

“I’m confident that we can finish the job off and nothing has happened in the last week to change that opinion.

“It’s tightened up again in the last week and there certainly will be teams above us looking over their shoulder.

“We are still playing catch up but hopefully we will get above that line soon and then the job is to stay above it.”
