All the news ahead of Scunthorpe United v Northampton Town

The Cobblers have no fresh injury concerns ahead of this Saturday’s trip to Scunthorpe.

“We are okay but with a lot of Saturday Tuesday games coming up in the next few weeks we really have to monitor the players closely now,” said boss Chris Wilder.

“There will be times when we might have to freshen the team up and I will definitely have to utilise the whole squad over the next few weeks.

“The players that maybe aren’t starting at the moment need to be ready, it’s a tight group and we’re not looking to add to the squad.

“We believe Ivan Toney is going to be a player for us, he trains all the time with the first team and he will definitely be involved over the next few weeks. Antonio German's departure clears his path a little and the opportunity is there for him to grasp it.”
