Work has already begun in the West Stand
While the official breaking of ground will take place on Friday, some internal works under the West Stand have already started at Sixfields as part of the redevelopment.
Work to expand the size of the dressing rooms is already well under way, and pictured is the former Shareholders Lounge.
For those of you who know Sixfields, this was the room opposite the Boardroom, that backs on to the home dressing room. As the work continues, the wall that separates the home dressing room from the lounge will be taken down to make a much bigger dressing room for the players to use.
As you can see from Pete Norton's picture, the work is already well under way!
