Tranmere Rovers defender moves to Sixfields
Northampton Town have signed Tranmere Rovers left back Evan Horwood on loan for the rest of the season.
Horwood began his career at Sheffield United in 2004 and after gaining experience on loan at Stockport County, York City, Chester, Darlington and Gretna he joined Carlisle United in 2007.
He spent two seasons with the Cumbrians before moving to hometown club Hartlepool United three years ago in 2010.
After almost 150 appearances, he joined Tranmere on a two year contract in the summer of 2013, and has made 16 starts and 6 substitute appearances at Prenton Park so far.
