A run down on the new under 18 players for next season
Introducing the players we have offered scholarships to for next season.
Callum Westwood
Callum goes to Caroline Chisholm School and is the son of Ashley, who had two spells with the club. Callum is a right back who has been with the club since 2006.
Ryan Marsden
Ryan attends the Buckingham School and is a central defender who is from Buckinghamshire. He has been with us since 2011.
Shaun McWilliams
Shaun is a local lad who goes to Duston School. He is a midfielder and has been with us 2 years.
Tom Carroll
Tom attends Ferrers Specialist Arts College in Higham Ferrers and is another midfielder. He is another who has been with us since 2011.
Matty Forster
Matty attends Sharnbrook Upper School just over the county border in Bedfordshire. He is a left sided midfield player who has been with us ever since 2006.
Robbie Parsons
Robbie attends Thomas Becket School in Northampton and he is a striker. He has also been with us since 2006.
Harver Burt
Harver is also a striker and has been with us since 2011. He attends Duston School.
They will join with the scholars who will remain with us at youth team level to form the basis of next season's under 18 team. As you can see, they are all local lads as we continue our drive to unearth and develop the best local talent to go forward and play first team football for Northampton Town.
