Striker puts pen to paper on new one year deal

Northampton Town striker David Moyo has signed a new one year contract.

The 19 year old Zimbabwe born Academy product becomes the third Cobbler to put pen to paper on a new deal over the summer, joining Chris Hackett and Gregor Robertson.

"We are pleased as we feel David has got a bright future," said manager Chris Wilder.

"There is more to come from him than supporters may have seen so far.

"He’s got pace which is frightening but we need to work on his skills and his technical ability. He’s a great boy and he’s willing to work and put the hours in.

"He is working hard on his fitness and strength over the summer and he is looking forward to coming back to work with the rest of the lads towards the end of the month."
