WILDER PLEASED AS SILEBY OPENER APPROACHES

9 July 2014

Chris Wilder previews Sileby Rangers v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is pleased with the preparations so far ahead of Saturday’s first pre-season game at Sileby.

“I’m really happy with the way training has gone and the attitude of the players has been spot on,” he said.

“There is a real togetherness about the group and the players are all driving each other on which is good to see.

“Obviously we want to come through the game at Sileby injury free but we also want to get the maximum we can out of it.

“We've touched on our shape in training and we've talked about the way we want to play.

“First and foremost I want us to be a team that passes the ball but there will be times when we need to adapt and change the way that we play.

“I’m really pleased with where we are right now and fingers crossed we will come through pre-season unscathed.”
