Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team played their first Football League Youth Alliance league game of 2014 on Saturday when they welcomed Stevenage to Moulton College.
The Cobblers won the game 3-2 with goals from Dodzi Agbenu (2) and Ivan Toney.
“I thought we played some good football going forward,” said Academy Manager Trevor Gould.
“We created some great chances and having not played a league game for a while it was nice to get the win today.”
