Left back has shoulder injury
Cobblers left-back Joe Widdowson (shoulder) is set to miss this Saturday’s trip to Newport.
“The physio is saying it will be a month and Joe says he can play a week Saturday,” said caretaker boss Andy King.
“I’ll listen to both of them and what they’ve got to say and then I’ll make my own decision.
“If it is a month then I will have to look at it and again I have the permission and the backing of the Chairman to bring a left-back in.
“Joe is my number one left-back and if it is only a week then I don’t really want to bring anyone in but I would think the York game is the earliest he will be available."
