Cheltenham Town: Mark Yates linked with top job at Oxford United
MARK Yates, manager of Saturday's opponents Cheltenham Town, is believed to be on the shortlist of potential successors to Oxford United’s outgoing boss Chris Wilder. Wilder resigned from his post at the Kassam Stadium on Sunday night and was unveiled as the new manager of Northampton Town on Monday. After more than five years at Oxford, he has signed a three-and-a-half year deal at Sixfields, appointing former Torquay United boss Alan Knill as his assistant.

Andy King departs Sixfields after Chris Wilder's appointment as manager
Northampton Town have confirmed that Andy King has left the club.
King, who was previously assistant manager, took caretaker charge of the first team following the departure of Aidy Boothroyd before the appointment of Chris Wilder.
“We are disappointed that Andy has chosen to leave but we wish him well,” said Chairman David Cardoza.
