THURSDAY'S MEDIA TALK

A look at some of the Northampton Town stories in today's media

Chesterfield duo picked up knocks
Drew Talbot and Ian Evatt were both substituted in the second half of Chesterfield's draw with Rochdale on Tuesday and Spireites boss Paul Cook explained his reasoning behind the decisions. “Drew had an abductor problem and the games are coming thick and fast now. As a manager, I’m going to make a lot of decisions about players but one thing I’m saying to the supporters is stick with us. I can’t make every decision right,” said the Liverpudlian.

Nicholls could be sent out on loan
Wigan goalkeeper Lee Nicholls could be sent out on loan at the end of the month, providing Uwe Rosler has all four of his stoppers back fit. With Ali Al-Habsi and Scott Carson both carrying injuries earlier in the season, the 21-year-old, who spent last season with the Cobblers, was the Latics' first-choice keeper for eight successive games in both the Sky Bet Championship and Europa League when Owen Coyle was manager.
