The views of the Cobblers caretaker boss ahead of Torquay United v Northampton Town, 18 January 2014
Cobblers caretaker boss Andy King previews this Saturday’s trip to Torquay.
“Make no mistake this is a massive, massive game,” he said.
“We can’t back away from that, every game now is big but this is a really big one.
“Torquay had a decent result on Saturday but I’ve got no fear going there and I’m still upbeat.
“I know what’s wrong, we played well in patches on Saturday without a great physical threat. We haven’t got the same personnel as last year that caused a threat but I think there is more fluidity in the team.
“I’m trying to bring players in, I’ve identified what we need but getting them is another matter.
“Getting players is easy but choosing the right ones is the most important factor.
“In my mind we are missing without doubt a Bayo type target man and for me I think we need a leader of the line.
“I think you need to have that option and I’m working on trying to get one in.”
