Club support International Students Week at the University of Northampton
University of Northampton student Matthew David, who is a marketing assistant working at Northampton Town Football Club as part of the partnership between the club and the University, attended the University's International Student Welcome Week on Wednesday.
The event was part of a schedule that is designed to promote the town and the University to international students.
The Cobblers, along with Northants Cricket and the Love Northampton campaign attended, and Matthew was joined by players Dean Snedker and Claudio Dias and club mascot Clarence in promoting the club.
Matthew delivered a presentation where he gave a brief history of the club, showcased some of the match highlights of the 2010 Carling Cup win at Liverpool and the trip to Wembley and talked about the partnership between the University and the club.
The players then took part in a Q&A session with the students to give them an insight into life as a professional footballer.
