Waterlogged pitch at Sixfields
Northampton Town's Sky Bet League 2 match with Chesterfield at Sixfields was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
The pitch was subject to a number of heavy downpours over the last week, constantly topping up the water levels and while the pitch was playable early on New Year's Day morning the constant heavy rain rendered the pitch unplayable.
Supporters with tickets for the game are asked to keep them safe as they will be used for the rearranged game. No new date for the game has yet been confirmed but when it is announced, details of refunds for ticket holders who cannot make the game will be announced.
